Spree is a pretty clever film. Joe Keery as Kurt aka @kurtsworld96 starts as a likable character. He has a charismatic onscreen presence throughout the entirety of the film. The film attempts to have a trade off of protagonists. We watch Keery’s Kurt go from zero followers to gaining a huge social media following through murdering other famous social media icons on film and taking their followers. Sasheer Zamata plays the protagonist of the film that we end up with.…

    Maniac Cop

Maniac Cop is a solid 80’s action/horror/mystery hybrid. It mostly succeeds at being a mystery as Bruce Campbell’s character is framed for a crime he did not commit. Tom Atkins’s character begins to realize that the person who did commit the crimes is an undead cop with a dark backstory, bringing in the horror side of this film. The ending of the film is filled with solid action as well. This is not a masterpiece by any means, but it’s a very competently made and entertaining film!

Brad Pitt’s character of Cliff Booth was by far my favorite but every single performance and character in this movie is great and interesting. Leonardo DiCaprio’s character is nuanced and charismatic as expected. Even Sharon Tate’s…

  • Cuties

Cuties may be one of Netflix’s shittiest movies. I know it’s the popular opinion to hate on this movie, which is why I watched it, but I’m afraid the popular opinion here is the correct one. The lead character is horribly unlikable to the point of rooting completely against her as an audience member. The only positives in this movie come from the cinematography. Unfortunately how a movie looks is not enough to make it good, and this movie is…
