petricor’s review published on Letterboxd:
So bad, it's almost good!
Featuring Sarah Michelle Gellar in a beautiful but poorly fitted blonde wig, Dwayne Johnson (being a pimp?), Seann William Scott in a dramatic role (just kidding, also being a pimp?), a European version of a car ad, Mandy Moore's over the top bad acting, Justin Timberlake lip syncing and randomly narrating Revelations to make things feel randomly apocalyptic when they never really feel so, everything 2000s, a reference to Philip K Dick (!) ("Flow my tears", the policeman said), and the (perhaps unironic) inclusion of a band I like, BRMC (with their song, Howl, best part of the film, easily).
Now some slow clapping for Richard Kelly, y'all. Slow clapping.
