Once Upon a Time… in Hollywood ★★★★

My first Tarantino film I’ve seen from start to finish, and I’m rather intrigued, I may even watch the rest of his filmography. While I didn’t fall completely in love with this film, it’s rather enjoyable. I can see on a rewatch that I may raise my rating but for now, I’m content with my rating.

There is so much I can talk about this film but I’m at a lost with words. This was just visually stunning; I know enough about Tarantino’s films to know this was huge step in directing because it didn’t start the stereotypical way his films usually begin. I loved that, it was very enthralling—not to mention, I knew enough about the time that it kept me watching. Either way, the performance were fantastic especially from Pitt, who made me fall in love with his depiction of Cliff Booth. Also, the casting choice of Margot Robbie as Sharon Tate was too perfect to be true. Even though she had limited screen time—you could feel the presence of Tate and the golden age of Hollywood. It’s good, it’s great. It’s everything I wanted it to be.
