Stephen P’s review published on Letterboxd:
Bravo! What bloody fun! An aging police detective enlists the aid of a supernatural entity to dispatch a band of human traffickers. Kudos to director Audrey Cummings for maintaining the delicate balance of extreme violence and dark humour for the duration. I’ve rarely seen it done as well. Lead Olunike Adeliyi is ferocious and intense and funny as hell. I want to see more of her. This film really pumped me up. Can you tell? I had no idea this was a remake of/sequel to He Never Died (2015) (which I have not seen) so this stands on it’s own as a strong edition to the biblical horror cannon. A must see!
