A Sufi horror movie, both timeless and time-worn, that meditates, purely in film language, forms and formlessness, on impermanence, our steady return to the elements, a melting demonology of dead faces, a cryptology of rotting human spirit in bubbling bacterial acetate, a birthdeath of Brakhagian butterfly wings, a (de)composition of atonal cacophony, all to the effect of confronting us with the great beauty and melancholic wonder that lies in our inevitable decay.
