Psychedelic trip with a lustful female vampire living in the middle of a desert. Alas, the screenplay is not necessarily good and gets incredibly dumb in the great finale. However, Stephanie Rothman was great at directing the scenes of dreams (the first desert sex scene blew my mind) and creating nightmarish atmosphere.

Mercilessly predictable. Has some entertaining / suspenseful moments, though.

Now that's what I call a slow-burner...
