Lizzy’s review published on Letterboxd:
watching this movie is like listening to one of your grandparents tell you one of the stories of their past, the stories of their life as it was lived many days in the ages when times were different and their lives were full. you listen for so, so long just to make them feel like their stories are valid and like they still have someone to talk and listen to, but you can’t help but wonder if they ever think about the end of the road or what they believe is in store for them for when they reach it. watching this is like thinking of the actions of the generations before you, and how they’re echoed through the melancholy and recollection of those who lived it. everybody has stories, and with those stories, their own pain and their own ache behind it all. it may not be for every ear, but it’s fascinating to listen.
