    For the last few days, Berlin Alexanderplatz has been consuming me. I've been watching it like a miniseries, a couple of episodes at a time, but it certainly earns the pretentious, self-given subtitle of "A Film in 13 Parts and An Epilogue" (more on the epilogue in a minute).
