A quality film - and a very interesting and expertly crafted one at that.

Morgan Freeman and Brad Pitt are a great pairing on paper and thankfully they show just why in reality. Freeman narrowly betters Pitt, though the latter does really come into his own at the conclusion.

I know the grass isn't always greener and all that, but how cool would it have been if Denzel Washington didn't reject the role of Mills (Pitt)! Gwyneth Paltrow also appears,…

    Little Big Mouth

    ★★★

For the majority, 'Little Big Mouth' is a neat little romcom.

It missteps a couple of times, but overall I think it works as intended. Nay Maps does good in the lead role, alongside a pleasant performance from Amanda Du-Pont. James Borthwick and Brady Hofmeyr, meanwhile, work well in supporting roles.

A few of the jokes may not land and it goes off the cheesy deep end in parts, especially at the end, but all in all it's a harmless 90 minute flick.

Superb! Definitely worthy of being in the discussion for my favourite MCU films.

I didn't know anything about the plot or anything like that regarding 'Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings', but I had heard it hyped up here and there in everyday life. Now, having seen it, I can fully understand why. It's a fantastic 132 minutes, from top to bottom. I have no complaints whatsoever.

This is the first time I've seen Simu Liu act and…

    A good watch.

I had a fine time watching 'Arthur Christmas'. The plot is a little light, with a fairly simple event taking a relative while to resolve itself, but it's still a pleasant festive animated film - with neat animation.

There are a number of familiar names on the voice cast, too many to name in actual fact. My personal standout is Hugh Laurie as Steven, though James McAvoy, Bill Nighy and Jim Broadbent are all enjoyable too.
