This film was simultaneously greatly entertaining and wildly infuriating to watch. Zendaya is phenomenal as Malcolm, or Marie, I’m not really sure whom I couldn’t pay attention the whole time. It’s like my eyes were engaged by my mind was just dulled by the constant drone of pointless drama. I’m pretty sure I won’t remember this in a year. But hey, it was... fun? Maybe? 4 stars. Should have been called Twilight World, like Jurassic World but for Twilight.

Seriously though, I actually really enjoyed this. Nolan took Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban and turned it up to 11.

I honestly got exactly what I wanted from this movie. Don’t get me wrong, I only understood like 80% of what went on at best, and I definitely needed those subtitles. But beyond that? Hell of a good time. Crazy good score and visuals, plus Kenneth Branagh…
