rafaela’s review published on Letterboxd:
indeed, scorsese is one of my favorite directors of all time, but i waited reluctantly to finally indite a review that could possibly exhibit the way i felt while watching this movie. even though deniro's outstanding performance along with the great camera moves and script, the white male victim by the society-incel propaganda could not be ignored by me. it reminded me A LOT of THAT clown movie. (i guess the clown movie should remind me of this but go off todd phillips)
i would probably have a different opinion if i had watch this before the clown movie, of course, but whatever
young robert deniro and teenage jodie foster smiling, the 4 1/2 are for you!!
