Brittani Burnham’s review published on Letterboxd:
Remember when Xavier Dolan was the darling of #FilmTwitter? After watching this film I can see why he's dropped off the radar so much.
This film is awful. The actors seem like they didn't even want to be there. I know Dolan went through a lengthy editing process and it shows. Nothing about this movie flows naturally, it feels like it was randomly spliced together at will.
I'm sure Dolan will recover from this, his films like Laurence Anyways, Mommy, I Killed My Mother, and Heartbeats were very strong, but there was no saving this.
