this didn't really work for me, and i'm not sure why. incredible sound and imagery at times, as expected for a director Bong movie. it might've been in the acting or the casting of the son, which felt wrong to me. it might've been all the red herrings, which started to get a little frustrating.
the ending was great of course, and that made up for a lot. but I can't help feel like the profundity of the message isn't quite there.
