Always fun to watch an old favorite with someone who has never seen it before and I don’t think I’d done that with this one since I introduced Deryck to it in the seventh grade. So wonderful in how it informs every other Bond film but functions on its own as maybe the best action film but even better getting to watch someone else discover all of that. Plus there’s a few differences in the way it’s understood as a seventh grader and today so it had plenty more gifts to give now.
