    Really makes you question more deeply what it means to be the dominant species on this planet. The amount of power that we employ constantly to shape our environment, to eliminate the "pests" that we consider threatening, to do as we please with animals that are less powerful than us—it's honestly quite frightening. And what's our excuse? That we're smarter?

    Maybe vegans are onto something.
