Greg Rodriguez’s review published on Letterboxd:
This is a very atmospheric and creepy film all the way through, although at times it had a real Tales From the Crypt vibe. Regardless, I appreciate its tying-into a historic film movement that existed in the UK - something I only Iearned about after watching the movie.
Censor really doesn't try to add anything new to the psych-horror genre, but it does hit all the right points for a film of its nature, so I have to applaud that. It's consistently eerie and unsettling, with only occasional jump scares.
I really loved how surreal and crazy the mood gets as the lead descends further and further into insanity.
I can certainly see myself liking this more with another watch.
The ending? Pretty cool.
