• Gaia

Eco body horror that revolves around mushrooms using heavily psychedelic imagery? It's almost like this movie was made for me. This had been on my radar for awhile and I'm glad they finally added it to Hulu. This was fucking great. I never really knew how much I liked the look of mushrooms growing out of corpses. Odd sentence to type right there. If you enjoy a good eco horror movie, this is definitely worth the watch. It's similar to…

  • Halloweentown High

    Halloweentown High

Look, these movies aren't "good" movies but I absolutely love them. I grew up watching these and my love for them is definitely incredibly nostalgia driven. But I still have so much fun with them. All 3 of them 😏😏

  • The Medium

    The Medium

This is a Thai horror movie about possession, spirituality, loss, and grief and you know what, it's a damn good one. This is one of the most effective horror movies I've seen in awhile. It's definitely more of a slow burn movie(right up until the INSANE climax of the movie) but the time we spend getting to know the characters involved really helps us feel for these characters when the horror does start. This is the first horror movie I've…

  • Haunt

I honestly really like this movie. I think the extreme haunt craze is prime inspiration for horror movies and I think this is the best movie to do so..... At least so far.

  • As Above, So Below

    As Above, So Below

    So damn good.

  • In the Earth

    In the Earth

I watched this back when it came out in theaters just forgot to log it lol. I will say the ending was deeply unsatisfying upon the first watch. Just finished watching Gaia which made me wanna revisit In The Earth so expect another review soon.

  • Censor

Honestly this movie gets an extra full star for originality alone. I really didn't know much about this going in and I'll keep my review brief as to not give too much away. I had heard quite a few people who's opinions I regard highly talking about how good this one is and they were incredibly correct. Yeah this movie is about a film censor in 80s England but it's about so much more than that. This is one I'll be revisiting fairly often.

  • Slumber Party Massacre

    Slumber Party Massacre

As I was watching this movie, I kept thinking "man my rating of this is getting higher and higher". This wasn't at all what I was expecting. I'm a pretty big fan of the original series so I was already skeptical. Add on the fact that it's a Syfy original, I had very low expectations but I honestly fucking loved this movie. Danishka Esterhazy knocked it out of the park yet again. The kills are pretty great for a Syfy…

  • Circus of the Dead

    Circus of the Dead

This is a nasty fucking movie. Like in every sense of the word. And you know what? I love it. This movie is definitely not for the faint of heart. It's extremely low budget but that honestly adds to the "charm" so to speak haha. This movie has everything from torture, rape, necrophilia, murder, graphic male nudity, and masturbation. Oh all of it being done by a seriously twisted group of clowns. I love Art the Clown and Pennywise but in terms of sheer brutality and sleaziness, Papa motherfucking Corn takes the cake.

  • Halloween Kills

    Halloween Kills

I guess when you have the word kills in the title of your movie, you gotta deliver on the kills. And by god does this movie deliver. This absolutely gives RZ's Halloween a run for the money in the gore department. I'm a gore fanatic so I was ridiculously pleased. I really can't understand why so many people are hating on this movie. I think it's one of my favorite entries in the Halloween series honestly. I'm absolutely going to be rewatching it so we'll see how I feel after repeat viewings but right now I'm a huge fucking fan.

  • Hatchet III

    Hatchet III

Ok I love the Hatchet series. I even love Victor Crowley even though it seems everyone else dislikes it. Well I had seen this one before but I didn't remember anything about it. There's definitely a reason for that. This was an incredibly disappointing entry in this series. A ton of the kills are off screen which is just wrong for the Hatchet series. The gore is definitely there but it looks absolutely awful. The fact that Adam Green didn't direct this one definitely shows. This one is definitely on the bottom of my list of Hatchet movies. Seriously disappointed

  • Hatchet II

    Hatchet II

I love this series. This entire series is one big love letter to the slasher genre. It's got corny dialogue, gratuitous violence all done with practical effects, and a ridiculous amount of cameos from horror royalty. Adam Green could making these forever and I'd be happy.
