    Alright, this was different. I don't know what I expected in terms of the overall plot or where the franchise would go, but I do know I expected way more Jamie Lee Curtis in this. Instead we got a couple of scenes with Laurie hurt in the hospital, after her fight with Michael in the climax of 2018's Halloween.

    This was a MUCH needed return to form for this franchise. I LOVE Halloween (the original and many sequels). It was fantastic to see Laurie Strode against the Shape once again, and it was everything I hoped for. Great kills, amazing soundtrack and a good cinematography that makes this sequel the most similar to the original in terms of looks and sounds (with many more deaths and violence of course, it's 2018, folks).
