    The Space Children

The US is attempting to launch a defensive bomb into space to deter another country from a preemptive First Strike. Now I know where Reagan got his SDI (Star Wars) strategy from.

An alien intelligence uses children to sabotage the launch. Piece of cake.

Not a lot happens in this. The kids walk around in a group daze, Adults are disbelieving and when the adults try to stop the kids, the adults pay.

Jackie Coogan and Russell Johnson (who plays a heel) are in this.

Patrick Dempsey is the title character.

A body is uncovered on his land and Patrick is accused of the murder. The body happens to be of a girl that Patrick knew 30 years prior who had gone missing.

Patrick's protege, Ben Schnetzer, steps in and begins his own investigation as he believes his mentor is innocent.

This show bounces from 30 years prior to current.

A solid cast in this. Damon Wayans Jr. , Kristine Froseth, Wayne Knight, Matt Frewer,…

    The Blues Brothers

    ★★★★

Dan Aykroyd and John Belushi are wonderful as the Blues Brothers.

While they are the stars, the supporting cast is what makes this movie special along with the music.

A fun ridiculous ride that is so easy to watch.

The boys see the light and are on a mission from God to save their old school from the tax assessor.

They have some wonderful and iconic lines in this one that I hear repeated quite often with my friends.

This remake actually works. I was prepared to dislike it as I really enjoyed the original with Noomi Rapace, but Rooney Mara and Daniel Craig did an amazing job. Loaded with some great actors this version did a very nice job of pacing. A brutal thriller, that has some very graphic elements attached to it. I loved the Bryan Ferry song that ran at the end of the credits, "Is Your Love Strong Enough". I originally heard that in Legend and it is a fantastic song.
