The Empire Strikes Back is easily the best Star Wars film to me it feels better made than the others whilst keeping the character interactions plentiful and enjoyful; not to mention the climactic confrontation is so beautifully executed and tense that it feels like such a powerful moment to end the film on without trying to conclude the story. A beautiful movie that really shines on multiple levels. The cinematography is very taught throughout and contains some very memorable shots, the characters are very interesting and believable; plus the accompanying soundtrack compliments the movie very well and helps set the tone of the street life of 1990s France.
