• Wrath of Man

    Wrath of Man

Like Guy Ritchie’s previous film, The Gentlemen, Wrath of Man is a very style driven film. From the customs design to the set prices this film delivers on the Ritchie style. The story is told in an interesting overlapping way accompanied by great editing. The cinematographers choice to use a slight zoom for exposition and  conversation scenes was interesting and something I hadn’t seen before. It was just subtle enough to not be distracting.

The acting also was pretty good.…

Batman: The Long Halloween, Part Two

The long Halloween part 2 is as good if not better than the first one! I literally feel like I'm watching a comic book! From the cinematography to the pacing this film delivers! I haven’t read this comic book in over 10 years so going into this I forgot about the mystery and who Holiday was. I was guessing and trying  to figure out who was the killer along with the characters and it was extremely engaging! Also, Two Face…

    Jeff, Who Lives at Home

This was a great film. I like every part from the score to the camera work to the acting. It’s a great story! Give this one a watch!

  • Loki

    My ranking
    Episode 5  10/10
    Episode 1   9/10
    Episode 2  8/20
    Episode 4  8/10
    Episode 6  6/10
    Episode 3  4/10

Overall I really enjoyed this series. I thought it fit well in the whole MCU. I liked the sort of nostalgic art style the creators chose to do. I feel they managed to show a familiar future  and dystopian world. I’m also a huge fan of the title sequence and typography chosen for “Loki”. I think it fits great with the character.

  • Batman: The Long Halloween, Part One

Batman: The Long Halloween, Part One

I like this a lot! The film's pace was very slow however, I think it fits well with a batman story. I'm also a huge fan the actual animation and how the creators titled each holiday. It was like I was watching a comic book. If you are a Batman fan, this is a must watch!

  • Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter

    Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter

Im trying to cite this film as a primary source for my senior thesis on the civil war. Do you think my professor will have issue with it?

  • Looper

Damn that was a good movie! I don’t know how I haven’t seen this before. It seems like such a classic. Maybe Looper got caught up in the stupid time travel and dystopian future phase in cinema but I feel like I was dramatically late to an awesome story. The pacing in this movie is phenomenal! It’s almost as good as the ending. This is a must watch if you haven't seen it!!

  • Fatherhood

This was good. Really pulled on the HART stings. Do you get it?
    Not funny

This movie is as real as a doughnut motherfucker. 🍩

  • The Conjuring: The Devil Made Me Do It

The Conjuring: The Devil Made Me Do It

The third act was decent but honestly I wasn’t a huge fan of the movie as a whole. I think the editing was off. I mean there was about 7 fade to black transitions in the first 10 minutes. Idk this movie didn't scratch the scary movie itch I had.

  • Bo Burnham: Inside

    Bo Burnham: Inside

A very relatable story told in a very creative way. Bo Burnham seem to be becoming a generational talent.
