Impeccable soundtrack, great cameos, and Muppets. What more do you need?

I prefer to look at Lynch stuff without saying “I don’t get it” or trying to look for some clear answer that I may have missed the first time. It’s Lynch; there is no Answer™️. It makes sense that it doesn’t make sense. What it IS is a gorgeous haunting piece of work that unsettles you and draws you in at the same time. And there are some little guys running around.

  • Hunt for the Wilderpeople

    Hunt for the Wilderpeople

What a sweet movie. Taiki Waititi is so good at directing children, and Sam Neill excels in anything he’s put in. How majestical!

  • City Lights

    City Lights

Funny, impressive, and sweet. Big fan of the drunk choreography.

Harlan Pepper, will you stop namin’ nuts?

Another Guest movie that has stuck with me for years. Perfect characters and cute dogs galore; what a film. It’s also so funny to me that the best in show judge is Major Briggs from Twin Peaks.

  • A Mighty Wind

    A Mighty Wind

One of my favorite movies of all time. So glad I got to show it to my roommates. The music is catchy as hell and the chemistry between Levy and O’Hara is unmatched. RIP Fred Willard!!!!!!!!

  • Monty Python and the Holy Grail

Monty Python and the Holy Grail

“How do you know he’s a king?“

“He hasn’t got shit all over him.”

Can’t overstate the effect this movie has had on my sense of humor throughout my life. Even as my tastes change, this remains a constant source of laughter for me. We even named my childhood dog Zoot :)

  • Ocean's Thirteen

    Ocean's Thirteen

The same charisma and style as the first one but with +1 Al Pacino. Morally I cannot give this anything less than 5 stars.

  • A Night at the Opera

    A Night at the Opera

rampant, dangerous glorification of being Italian

  • Ocean's Eleven
