As Speer Expert no new facts, but still a very well made documentary out of his interviews after the "Erinnerungen" book for the whitewash Hollywood film project, admitting only the things he knew they knew. He even admits Posen and Mauthausen now.

But the film misses on all the childish exaggerations from the book though, how much a genius he really thinks of himself. At least an IQ of 200.
A very poor architect, but a great liar and a very talented manager.

1 Punkt Abzug für das Ende, ansonsten perfektes humanistisches Gefängnisdrama.
PS: Die Grosse Freiheit ist ein berühmtes Hamburger Bar und Bordell Viertel.

This was the third masterpiece in Kurosawa Kiyoshi's golden year, with invitations to Cannes for "Charisma", "License to Live" on other festivals, and then this little student projects which he did with his class of young students from the Film School of Tokyo, with help from his colleague Shinji Aoyama, who also had his breakthrough with "Eureka" in the same year 1999.

Most of the story was written by the students, esp. the lucid grand ending about a young couple who doesn't really want to move on in its relationship, and in the end it dissolves. Literally. In light.
