Everyone knows about Venus & Serena Williams in the tennis world, but no one knows what happened before they were household names.
My interest was peaked and I was left fascinated by the very end. To see the struggle and just plain stubbornness and commitment of their father just trying to do what's best for his daughters.
Even if that ment forgoing tournaments, signing label brands and working day and night for them to try to better…

Lin-Manuel Miranda is on abit of a roll as of late, with this and 'Encanto'. And being this as his directorial debut I would say he has done a excellent job.
The story was very powerful, sad and some what uplifting in parts. I connected and really rooted for 'Jonathan' to succeed even when you can see he was clearly struggling.
The songs were very good and also catchy I'm sure I'll revisit the soundtrack in…

British comedy and British films in general are having a resurgence of late. Reggie Yates has shown he has a keen eye for writing and directing.
This film may not be for everyone but it resonated with me, because this is what I was around when growing up the culture and the music (my god the music) served as a nice time period piece of 1999.
The three main characters bounced off each other well and…

It's hard to put into words, that everytime I watch this I fall in love with it that little bit more with each viewing.
I think claustrophobia plays a big part along with the long narrow floors to the dark corners and nooks where you hardly can see. It ramps up the terror and tension to such a degree you can hardly take a breath.
Also you can resonate with the principle cast in that they…

While it doesn't break new ground or try something a tad different or fancy, it doesn't stray away from the 'Western' formula, I had a good time with it.
And that's down in part to the assembled cast they have involved here. Pacing was never issue it wasn't dull or boring, it kept ticking over at a reasonable speed.
It reminded me in parts like a Tarantino flick especially in the 3rd act where there's alot of violence and bloodshed.
All in all much better then i was expecting and some of the shots and cinematography was very pleasing on the eye.

    "Say his name"

don't misunderstand this and come into this being a straight up horror flick because it's definitely not.
It has a very different tone to the first playing out more of a slow burn to build how atmospheric and suspenseful it was, the music did play and help a huge part in that.
However what I did find fascinating and in a clever way is how they used marionettes to tell of 'Candyman's' back…
