Like a panic attack in slow motion. Even the way in which it becomes increasingly intense is subversive. Seizes satisfaction until the very last possible moment, and oh man is it delivered.
I don't say this lightly but...heavy Shining vibes. Not in content, but in that this is far more likely to be studied and mulled over for years to come than Aster's Hereditary, which was happy to give the viewer everything it offered in 1-2 viewings. I can't wait…
