Ryan Saylor’s review published on Letterboxd:
An elaborate destructive feminist satire disguised as a softcore porn film. Sion Sono is out for blood with this brisk but effective film. It's surreal. It's gorgeous. It's out to criticize porn, society, Japan, and the entire make species. It's bold, fascinating, and entirely worth checking out.
I will say that for me personally though, this film was a little overwhelming and though I very much appreciate everything it went for, not all of it worked for me. I do need to see this one again for sure, however. I do feel this will be better in a rewatch now that I know what the film is.
