Takes a rocky road to the end, but it’s thoroughly engaging all of the way through. A lot of the film’s criticisms are valid, though far-fetched in my mind. Last Night in Soho may have started sinking once the horror elements kicked in, but that has everything to do with how magical the first hour of the film is and not with the latter half’s inability to sustain. This thing is significantly better than advertised and worthy of a watch for the soundtrack alone.
