Sam Morrison’s review published on Letterboxd:
A cavalcade consisting of one man, riding through the desert on the stirrups of justice. Clint & Sergio developed the first ever chivalrous cowboy widely recognized by his superior firearm finesse and the wit to get a leg up on his rivals, through every step of the ensuing war.
Only one hindrance exists that removed me from the immersion, and that was entirely with the dubbed over dialog. An end result to the technology available at the time, that couldn't be helped for sure, but it proved to distract me as their mouths never matched.
Every other ingredient in this intoxicating concoction wafted me back to the multitudinous bodies being piled up, however malodorous that stench might be. Lives lost in the name of sadistic pleasure, and on the other side of the coin, redemption for the man firing. Eager to show the fallen there is new reason why they've left this earth too soon.
