Suicide Squad ★★

This is a mediocre film, that's pretty much it. The storytelling is mediocre, the visuals are mediocre, the writing, the pacing, some of the acting and most important the action, all of it just falls flat .

It does manages to have a few funny moments, and Will smith is quite good in it, and both Joel Kinnaman and Jai Courtney are fine, Margot Robbie goes for it but the voice they went for Harley Quinn is really really, obnoxious and the way they over sexualized her is just beyond awkward, Cara Delevingne is simply bad, Jared Leto also puts a good effort but the weird balance they try to get between gangster joker and plain psychopath joker, doesn't work and the fact that he is just there for fan service and doesn't add almost anything to the plot doesn't help. Poor Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje, who is actually an actor i really like, ends up being crippled by tons of weird and funny looking make up, leaving him only able to make odd faces and barely capable to open his mouth. Jay Hernandez is good but as with everybody else here is kept down by a bad material and a story that doesn't take advantage of him so whatever big moment he has in the movie feel gratuitous and unearned, but is the same with almost every emotional or character driven moment. Viola Davis is the best thing in the movie, making a damn good Amanda Waller, even if she has to deal with a lazy script and a plot that makes everything that happens her fault, harming her character and making her come off as a moron.

I wasn't a fan of the Batman: Assault on Arkham, animated movie but if you're looking for a Suicide Squad movie i recommend that one before this, hell this makes it look like the Dark knight by comparison.

It doesn't look good, the action is atrocious, the dialogue and relationships between characters are almost laughable and doesn't match the characters and everything that happens is a collection of uninspired cliches and tropes badly executed and glued together in the most lazy way, is neither as crazy fun or intense as it should of or believes it is, Simply forgettable.
