Slick, smart, and gory. Loved Cronenberg's (the young one) every attempt of making use of sci-fi's love for alienation - from our main character's imposter syndrome in the home to her work. Her inability to be herself or her subjects is shown in some horrendous ways. My only caveat is that Cronenberg could have done something more interesting with gender, that's what I was anticipating. Body invasion stories like this tend to be an encouraging environment for lgbt themes a la Being John Malkovich. Wasted opportunity but it succeeds everywhere else.
