    Out of Sight

Smart, sexy, eccentric, and beautifully directed and shot.

Another great example of how a director can improve a screenplay by his/her directing.

    The Elephant Man

    “There was no Elephant Man”

Elephant Man premise is equivalently like: what if the King’s Speech is actually good and honest.
How Lynch blended sorrow and friendship, and how he captured the Victorian era clearly show that he is the master of the craft right at the beginning.

While John Hurt’s acting is great, I think the one who shines is Anthony Hopkins. This is a perfect movie for kids that is not meant for kids.

    Avengers: Endgame

I think the movie itself deserves 4 stars but my personal connection say otherwise.

A beautiful grand finale that somehow doing and achieved even more than the epic task of being a culmination of 21 films.
Messy and chaotic but also idiosyncratic and a very touching trip down the memory lane.

Good characterization but the chemistry of the Original Six are not presented. At least they did something interesting with every original six though.

  • Roma

    Brutally honest and beautiful.
Cuaron best since Children of Men, from a simple tracking shot to a riot in the middle of a city, Cuaron puts all of his love into this movie.
Roma is a masterpiece. Really captured what life is.
