Mystical, magical, unusual...
Björk is perfect as Margit. The BW cinematography is crazy good, resembling Dreyer’s Ordet or Bergman’s The Seventh Seal. 

Particular scenes have really stuck with me since watching. I think of Björk’s singing, the cliffs, the birds, the waterfall she disappears into with her mother’s ghost. And more than anything I think of the hole in one’s chest where the heart should be, an unreachable portal to somewhere else.
