    ★★★½

Fun thriller, with some weirdly interspersed mourning. I enjoyed it.

  • A Quiet Place Part II

    A Quiet Place Part II

    ★★★½

Nice addition to story and world I thought. Worth a watch if you liked the first one.

  • Zola

    Zola

    ★★★½

The craziest thing is that the original script was based on a bunch of tweets. Got some beautiful shots though, entertaining throughout. Worth a watch

  • A Few Good Men

    A Few Good Men

    ★★★½

Actually a great movie, and not just for the famous line.

  • Spider-Man: Far from Home

    Spider-Man: Far from Home

    ★★★½

Typical marvel fodder. Entertaining stuff that took you on a good ride. The villain was the best bit by far. Worth a watch, if only to keep up to date on the MCU.

  • Upgrade

    Upgrade

    ★★★½

Very fun sci-fi action movie built off the even cooler idea of human body augmentation.

Some great action scenes and the story keeps you interested throughout. Definitely worth a watch.

  • A Quiet Place

    A Quiet Place

    ★★★½

Great movie. The film turns something that could be gimmicky into something compelling plot device. The majority of the credit goes to the great acting, which makes it easier to suspend your disbelief and root for a family trying to survive in post apocalyptic world. Worth a watch.

  • Glass

    Glass

    ★★★½

Great finale to a unique and interesting take on a currently overcrowded genre.

Although it's definitely not the best of the "trilogy", the acting is pretty good (especially James McAvoy and his umpteen characters) and the story packs just enough punch to keep you entertain till the satisfying conclusion. Mr M.night did a great job with these films and doesn't get enough praise for them. Glass did well to wrap things up... But curiously, I hope there is more to come.

P.S. If you haven't seen Unbreakable and Split definitely check them out.

  • Alita: Battle Angel

    Alita: Battle Angel

    ★★★½

Very entertaining. Action scenes are what you should be viewing this for, they are big and exciting. The story not so much. You can tell it's years of manga a manga smushed into to a 2 hours, but it's coherent at least. Overall a fun bit of escapism.
