Sheldon Dugas’s review published on Letterboxd:
This movie was so weirdly confusing that I found myself hooked on the movie almost immediately. Sure a lot of the time I didn't know what was going on, but these quirky characters and puzzling sequences really made this experience a fun one. The characters really don't get much depth, but we understand them and where they come from, so it's easy for us to root for some and despise some others. I'm sure there are some political allegories in this that I missed that a Brazilian audience member would understand, but with my basic knowledge of Brazilian politics, I think I understood the movie. The entire cast is pretty great and all the western aspects were a ton of fun to watch. The movie certainly shifts tone rather quick. so keep an eye out for that.
And I guess I'll add this to my 2020 ranked since it did come out in NA this year, even though it did come out in other territories last year.
