Shmeckle’s review published on Letterboxd:
It's hard not to get sucked into this film. Russell Metty's cinematography alone catapults this into a different echelon. Welles is amazing as are Janet Leigh, Akim Tamiroff, Mercedes McCambridge and Marlene Dietrich. Yes, Charlton Heston is problematic as a Mexican in dark make-up, but, ultimately, he doesn't detract from a great noir.
