Siegel™’s review published on Letterboxd:
There are many echoes of Wes's earlier films, particularly Rushmore and Tenenbaums. An unapologetic romantic, Moonrise Kingdom is the director's study in wish-fulfillment. Filled with wonderful performances, this arguably manages to be Wes Anderson's most accessible film, without compromising his style. Film is experiential, and in this beautifully stylized adventure the experience is truly magnificent. And now, for the bold statement of the day: Wes Anderson has never made a bad film, and only 2 are less than "Great."
3 --> 4 (what was WRONG with me)
