Silversaxophone’s review published on Letterboxd:
Brandon Cronenberg exhibits the Old Man’s cool cerebral vibe punctuated by scenes of extreme gore. All he needs is a sense of humour. This is an effective existential horror about identity stealing and the loss of humanity. It is questionable whether the extent of the violence furthers that idea or gets in the way of it — it does emphasise mind/body duality — nevertheless, the arrangement of mutilated human flesh and the pooling of blood and the attendant colour schemes create a memorable aesthetic.
