As tired as I am with Anderson’s quirky style, I’m always drawn back into the detail and tediousness of his stories.
What’s interesting is that the characters in the film (the writers) are telling the stories on screen, not Anderson (technically yes but no). These stories are not 100% accurate, but rather how the writer wants the story to be told.
With that said, I need to watch it again and think about who the writer is for each story,…
My grandma just had surgery and had asked me to watch this movie. I knew nothing about it and gave it a shot. The story was eh, Travolta was money, the cast was ok.
After watching the movie, I visited my grandma and she was so happy that I watched the movie. I could tell by the little references I made about the movie to her that it made her day.
I’m happy I watched it.
