Skylar Travis’s review published on Letterboxd:
Finally glad to have gotten to see this. I’m sad though I wasn’t able to see it in theaters. Ever since I had my first child and got married, all in the last year, movie going is hard to do. But anyways, Once Upon a Time in Hollywood is an amazing achievement. I watched it last night and I had to sleep on it. I was super tired and maybe a bit drunk, but my mind was completely glued to my tv during it nearly 3 hour run time. It’s Tarantino’s most mature outing as a filmmaker thus far in his amazing career. And he is proving that as a screenwriter, he is still one of the top writers creating original material. The cast in this film is one of the greatest ensemble casts to come around in years. DiCaprio and Pitt are dynamite together! I want to see more of them on screen together in the future. It’s a very funny film also. It’s a lot to take in. I can’t wait to watch it again.
