Double feature with The Human Voice, which is apt. Both revolve around women in despair over losing their lover, mostly set in a single apartment. While The Human Voice definitely has some moments of comedy, WOTVOANB is a comedy full-on, a screwball farce that pays tribute to Hollywood melodrama. At times it even reminded me of John Waters. Found myself delighted at every stylistic choice he made. Definitely my favorite Almodóvar so far.
