Even after seeing this pop up multiple times in conversation about underrated movies from the 2000’s this still surprised me. If it was actually real, it would be one of the prettiest documentaries I’ve seen in a while. That 16mm is just so GOOD! I really appreciate a ghost story that revels in the unknown and unexplainable and the revelations came at an absolutely perfect pace, keeping it at a perfect slow burn without ever risking losing my interest. Perfect level of spooky (people who have seen this know exactly what I’m talking about).
