This review may contain spoilers. I can handle the truth.

Second helping of this masterpiece in surreal, existential picture.

    "It's all so treacherous."

I'm still working on wrapping my head around this hazy and poetic piece of art, so bear with me as I make a bunch of incoherent ramblings combined with interesting quotes from the film that just resonated with me personally.

"Fill my brain with lies to pass the time."

Jessie Buckley is not real. She is an extension of Jesse Plemons' Jake. The embodiment of what he…

This is the THIRD Akira Kurosawa film to break into my top films of all time, IKIRU is a very meaningful story about a man dying of stomach cancer who, in his final moments, searching for purpose and meaning.

I may not have stomach cancer, but I do feel very connected to the story and protagonist and his situation through my own battles with depression. I often feel like my life is on autopilot and I am just coasting along…

There is a lot to be said about the importance of cyber security, keeping our data hidden, the advancement of technology and national security, but this is a movie about special agent CGI guinea pigs, so you won't find any of that here.
G-FORCE is an insufferable bore, loaded with terrible one-liners not clever or funny enough to be enjoyed by neither adults nor children, and... you know what, nevermind. I watched this so you don't have to...
    Also, something…

Diane, 11:30 a.m., February 24th. Entering the town of Twin Peaks.

Greatest pilot in the history of TV, what led to be one of the most bizarre, intriguing, dark, satisfying shows to ever hit the small screen.
The line between TV and cinema is a fever dream created by David Lynch.

Shame! they said. Non-Canon, they said! Rian Johnson ruined Star Wars, they said.

Guys, did you even watch The Last Jedi? Because what I just witnessed was the best Star Wars experience since Empire Strikes Back.
Rian Johnson directs the shit out of the movie. He puts all the pieces into place. Rian said it himself. As the middle chapter in the Trilogy, he wanted to focus on the characters and story. And he does it all with ease. Every…

    Inherent Vice

    ★★★★★

"You're going to want to get good and fucked up before this meal."

In this psycho-noir epic tale, Paul Thomas Anderson delivers a thick cloud of deep dialogue and intense performances than entrances it's viewers.
The narrative by Joanna Newsom is wonderful and a welcome addition to the style.
As usual, Jonny Greenwood's score is spot on with the overall tone.

Paul Thomas Anderson proves again that he is one of the best working today, and Inherent Vice is a unique addition to his arsenal.
