- turn out to be hiding secrets
- wire tap his house and listen in on his and his wife’s conversations
- kill anyone who tries to leave their group
- are involved in a bunch of suspicious activity
- constantly battle the government, especially the IRS
- always gas him up so he stays on their side
- drive his wife so crazy that she leaves
