All the makings of a fantastic movie are here, I mean right here, actually here. The production design, the makeup effects, the score, the cast...all excellent! But someone fumbled the ball big time in assembling the final product. I don't think it's just the final cut itself, the problem feels deeper than that. The whole thing is just staged and filmed in a way that feels so...bored.

It should be theatrical! You have this grand gothic production! Revel in it!…

I mean I didn't necessarily want much more out of my Venom v. Boseman exudes such a quiet, dignified grace in this role. Which seems to just be a reflection of the person he was in real life. I'm gonna miss his presence greatly in the MCU, and in the rest of the world at large. Rest in power and peace.💜

I hadn't seen this film since theaters. I forgot how beautiful it is to look at and how beautifully fleshed out the lore is. It's good to see a Marvel movie that…

Yeah this is absolutely the Craig cycle's Dark Knight Rises - to me Skyfall is still the quintessential paragon, the encapsulated distillation of "Bond" that exists marvellously both within of its series and on its own, but this is the gargantuan, maybe slightly overstuffed, but truly epic series finale that still has most (but maybe not quite all) of the cinematic heft of its predecessor (yah we're mapping with Casino/Skyfall/Time as the triumvirate here, the others...also exist, don't they).…
