This was hammered by all critics and won razzies....but...I really enjoyed watching it and will watch it again. Advertised as a sci-fi actioner but actually not a sci-fi actioner at all.
It’s a slow burning drama with raw CGI moments of punctuation action. Some brilliant CGI and graphic design that goes completely under commented on. Will and Jayden both had their acting panned and whilst admit it’s hardly Oscar worthy I have seen dramatically a lot worse acting in many popular movies.
The writing isn’t amazing but the story is one that I personally enjoyed and felt involved in.

I honestly don't understand the criticism levelled at this film. Most of Pixars predecessors come highly recommended but this received mixed reviews. I think that this is because Pixar made a movie for a different audience. This is a film made for kids, and made for kids to enjoy with parents. Previous Pixar outings had nods to an adult audience.
