This made me think hard about my own tendencies to sublimate emotions and avoid uncomfortable discussions in favor of just keeping the peace. I saw elements of myself in all three main characters, and I will probably be thinking about that for some time.

The movie's themes are rather simple, but they're drawn out delicately and although this is not a plot heavy film, you are drawn in by the performances and their considerable energy infuses each scene with a…

[Wondrous words of wit and wisdom with which to waste one's time]

Hey heroes! El Generalissimo here, winging my way back from the left coast where I've been consulting with the cognoscenti and grooving with the glitterati!  It's a tough job, but hey, somebody's gotta do it!

It's like finally meeting the older brother of a friend you grew up with that you thought was gonna be super cool (and is in some respects) but turns out to be kind of a dick.

I give it an extra half-star because (1) a co-worker I used to travel with once introduced us as the "pros from Dover," and (2) in the '70s my dad had one of those floppy camo hats like Hawkeye's that he'd let me wear sometimes.
