This felt like a mix of The Incredibles and Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs and a dash of iRobot. The premise of this film has been done time and time again, yet it still felt fresh and original from the way it presented itself. The Mitchells vs The Machines is a colorful frenzy of chaos, fun, and emotion. Many true words were said in this witty-packed production that successfully parodies a host of familial, social, and technological scenarios and nails them with assurance. You'll recognize something in all the characters that you'll relate to, some traits a little closer to home than you might like, but take it with a grain of salt, smile and embrace what you really can be - before it's too late and the machines try and take it from you.
p.s. the defective robots were probably my favorite characters :)
