Plays with the cliche of acknowledging cliches too much, uses the standard liar revealed plot without acknowledging that cliche, barely mentions the second movie events and uses Katy Perry’s Firework.
With that said it’s got it’s moments. The comedy is as sharp as ever and the first 20 minutes are nonstop fun. And DuBois is no joke one of the funniest villains in 2010s animation. And who can say no to penguins with N word passes?
