a perfect film, full stop. brutally honest and works on so many levels, which became apparent with this rewatch. intricate and subtle in ways that i didn’t notice before. gorgeous camerawork (s/o to alayna if ur reading this). no stone unturned. like its been left in the sun too long but in the best way possible. beautiful, devastating. the final scene haunts me. gael, diego, and maribel deserve the world and also my heart.
