"I believed in God ... for three minutes." I can't believe it took me so long to see this, given that I love so many movies that are influenced by it. A perfect character study. Can't wait to watch it again.

I don't know if I have fully processed this yet and I look forward to writing something much longer and more thoughtful at a later date but for now: I haven't felt this exhilarated or enraptured or just plain stimulated by anything in a while. I expect that images and arguments from this film will be playing in my head for quite some time.

If the point of this was to make me a #freebritney believer, it worked. Also: The barrage of early aughts Britney interviews is unbearably cringe-y and then Matt Lauer shows up like Freddy Krueger. FREE BRITNEY!
